An average clothes washer uses about 40 gallons of water per load, while high-efficiency clothes washers use less than 20 gallons of water per load.

To achieve even greater savings, wash only full loads of laundry or use the appropriate load size selection on the clothes washer.

CLOTHES WASHER REBATES FOR SHARON RESIDENTS
A rebate of $200 is available for clothes washers of 3.0 cubic feet capacity or greater, or $150 for clothes washers of less than 3.0 cubic feet capacity.

Clothes washers must have an EnergyStar water factor of 6.0 or less to be eligible.
